A quick post today showing an art journal page made a little differently. It's a pretty portrait, but a portrait drawn with rope. Here is the process of how to create the page:
Here's the full finished page:
Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend, I myself am off out for Sunday lunch now yay :) much love xx
This video is very cool. I think I'd have to draw out my face (or whatever) in pencil first but I'm willing to give it a try. I liked how you colored in the face - hadn't thought of adding a lighter color to do highlights - don't know why.
I hope your brunch is great. My stomach is starting to make noises.....
Stunning page! Love your videos. I do not think I can manage a portrait such as that but I can do the flowers. :). Great technique. Thanx for sharing and for the inspiration.
What a cool idea! It gives the portrait so much dimension.
I hope you had a great lunch -- I got to go out for lunch yesterday, and then for ice cream, and it was awesome. For some reason it felt like being on vacation. :)
Jennibellie! I'm always amazed at the materials you use for your art. You are one creative gal... i love the look it gives her. Really cool. Thanks for sharing your world with us. xoxo
Jennibellie...I often have to come back to watch your videos because of time constraints...but I'm ALWAYS glad when I do!
