DIY Art Glass Tutorial

So you guys know I'm really into making my own supplies, I feel it can only ever add something entirely unique to a project if you use handmade embellishments & supplies - like you have put your stamp on it from the get go, from the very inside out.

So I've a new homemade supply tutorial for you: art glass!!

I love it not only because of the way it looks (blings up any project in seconds!) but also because it's so versatile in how you make it ~ I show you many 'ingredients' for my concoction in the tutorial, but as long as you're crafty you can find a way to transform something you already have on hand into faux art glass.

Here are some projects that I've already shared on this blog that have been made with art glass:

Here's the tutorial, I hope you enjoy it & have fun making your own:

Much love Jennibellie xoxo

  3. Thank you for this tutorial! I am a very new artist and had never even heard of art glass. It is very beautiful! I've just been motivated to get out of my pajamas and head to my local craft store for some beads to make my own!!

  6. Hello :) Awesome tutorials .. I have been making journals, and books like crazy due to the inspiration found here. In this video, you use a long black spoon to get the tiny beads out, would you please let us know where we could get one of these from?

  7. I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that I have learned from you in just about two weeks. I have bought one of your ebooks off etsy as well. I thank you so much for not charging a lot of money for your gold advice, as it is hard times I wouldn't have been able to benefit from all of this that you have shared and I am so grateful... this is not related to this one video, but I do plan to share this activity with my daughter as well. Today, Jenibellie, my teenage daughter and I spend hours making paper beads. It has been a wonderful day. Brightest Blessings to you!

  8. I have a question hopefully Jennibellie or someone else can answer. I'm for going green and using everything... I have a non-reusable salt grinder. I've read I can get the lid off easily by heating it up. SO, I could fill it with small beads and plastic pieces and I was wondering do you think this could be used to make art glass?
