Hey Love

I'm SO excited.

I have a BRAND NEW Journal Making Class Now OPEN!! Whoop Whoop!

The Wisdom Journal is about making your own survival guidebook of your own personal wisdoms.

For more info visit:
The Wisdom Journal {clickable}

In the Wisdom Journal Class we will:

*Make a Unique Journal - including creating pockets, decorating background papers before binding, crafting a decorative spine, adding a closure etc.

*Detect Our Wisdoms – what is to go in the journal? Well, we shall see…

*Art Journal – once we have done the work around finding/making our wisdoms we shall art them out in our fancy new handmade journal.

*Apply Our Wisdoms – we will look at how we can consciously apply our wisdoms in our life. This class is not about locking knowledge away in a book never to be seen again, it is about bringing awareness to light to use …and as a result create our own fabulously customised survival book to have forevermore and use as a tool.

Registration is open now for a CRAZY Low Early Bird Price.

Three Videos in Three Days

Hello Love

Hope you're having a fabulous creative weekend, if not here's some kick-starters for you. The last three days I've posted a video a day so here they all are together, enjoy.

The first one I posted is all about 'How I Organize & Store Scrap Papers':

If you want more Ask Jennibellie videos you can get them via signing up to my Monthly Newsletter here: http://eepurl.com/BHv-1. When you do so you’ll also receive a free Creative Ebook, Exclusive Videos, Collage Sheets & other goodies *instantly* as well as the monthly news, articles, videos & other occasional gifts sent direct to your inbox =)

The second was the new monthly art challenge video on Journal Workshops, where we are exploring your relationship with creativity. Check it out here:

The Monthly Challenge is a free group I host on my art community Journal Workshops. It is a monthly art date for us to stretch our art/journaling comfort zone. If you are not yet a part of this Group, come & join over 5000 creative comrades plus get new monthly art vids from me here: http://journalworkshops.ning.com/group/monthly-challenge

The third video is from the Makers Meet-up is all about having yourself a 'Creative Spa Day':

The Maker’s Meet-up is another free group on my art community. A weekly meeting place where you can come and share, find support and be inspired (and where I give little extra creative assignment videos such as this one too) =D

So there you are if you follow all three you'll have an organized studio, be getting your creating groove on while improving your relationship with creativity and having a luxurious Creative Spa Day as you do it all. No excuses for a non-creative weekend around here, though in truth these are all 'regular' videos I create all the time (though obviously they are all on new topics each time) for my newsletter or art community - so just follow the links to get more ;)

Much love
Jennibellie

What I do when I don't post here - Free Art Video (Daily Behind the Scenes Blog 4)

Hi lovely

This is my fourth daily blog behind the scenes post, you can view yesterdays (all about my new studio) here. I'm summing up what I've been up to lately all in one week! Today is about what I'm creating when I don't post here.

As I look down my blog articles for 2016 I feel the sparseness. I think back over other years when I posted a lot and realise I'm not posting much less now, it's just not always directly to here. I used to only have this blog and my youtube account, now I have many other places I post - mainly my art community and social media. Not this lovely old blogs fault, I should keep up sharing what's happening elsewhere on here so over today and tomorrow I'll just share two regular things I share on Journal Workshops.

As it is the first of the month today I'll share my video from the Monthly Challenge Group. This is a group where each month I pick one member of my communities suggestion and create an art challenge for my community, here's todays:

I'm sure many of you reading this are already members of the group (there are over 5,000 of you now) but if not you can join up here. What I love most about it is seeing all the pictures that come in, all of the different creations that occur through different hands and perspectives of the members of the group. Anyway here's the challenge:

Here are the linky links to those things mentioned in the video:
Rock Your Online Shop Class -
Maker's Meet-Up Group -
21 Secrets 2015 Classes -
http://bit.ly/2ggCDlC (use the code 'RETIRE' you will get $30 off!)

Hope you enjoyed the video
see you tomorrow for the last (...may be!) daily blog

Current In Progress Mixed Media Art Journal Pages

Hello (my how beautiful you are!)

Back to a proper 'weekly ramble' format this week, meaning this post is a quick snapshot of where my creativity is at & view of in progress stuff rather than any completed things.

My creativity has been going crazy the past week, but most especially the past 48 hours. I literally got zero sleep last night; ideas kept jumping, twisting and turning through my brain, I barely put my light out long enough for my eyes to notice let alone close. I am running on fumes today but I think it's gonna be worth it I have FINALLY found the structure(s) I want to create the Daily Rituals Class in (a class I have been trying to mould, shape and create for what feels like forever, all about about creating a daily creative journaling practice that supports you). So today I took my Ideas Journal to my outdoor studio and had a loooong Planning Session (a concept for creating I share in my Creative Goal Journaling Class) to form the Classes that will be (hopefully, with a bit of work) be coming soon...

The other main area my creativity has been channelled the past few days is journal pages.

Here's some in progress ones:

Puppy dog needs some more layers and pen work I think

This is a 5 min collage I think I'm gonna leave as is, and do some more of these, very freeing

Here's some progress shots of a now finished one:

So that's the snapshot of my creative week.
How has yours been? Share in the comments below, I'd love to hear (I read every one!)

Have a great weekend
Much love

PS don't forget to check out the Monthly Art Challenge Video if you haven't already, you can find it here: http://tinyurl.com/aprilsartdate

Following a question posted on Journal Workshops I was prompted into action to make this video below on how I get my perfectly smooth bubble and buckle-free collaging on board (decoupage). Hope it helps anyone who has previously been frustrated by bumps and bubbles in their work, if you have your own tips or tricks for this issue please join in and post it to the discussion:

See you soon

Weekly Ramble #5 ~ The Importance of Space

Hello, weekly ramble this week is all about space, space, space.

A certain someone will fit in any space!

If you saw last weeks post you may have seen that I've been re-vamping my studio space. Last night I added some papercut style garlands:

and tonight and I busy making a poster for my big fancy style frame (well the Ikea-fancy-chic anyway lol):

This past couple of weeks I've really noticed the importance of space, of being not only happy but inspired by your surroundings.

Inspiration to create is something that I've struggled with in my outside studio since I've had it. It was more my time-out sanctuary, somewhere to chill-out and set myself back to neutral, which is all great but I've begun feeling the urge to create in there moving in gradually, and the changes I've made have been things to hopefully help me along with that - like completely re-arranging my supplies!

I think I've finally got there with revamps of this space, and after I've completed my new studio poster I think I'll do an updated Studio Tour video so you guys can see (because as I said when I did the one below it was fairly new and I hadn't properly moved-in the Jennibellie way yet....now I have and ahhhhhhhhh it feels good =) )

Thanks for reading
see you tomorrow (I may be posting the other of my travel art vids...maybe)

Weekly Ramble #2 ~ Midst of Jennibellie Wall Project

Hi guys, so true to my words of my first Weekly Ramble blogpost last week I don't have a completed project to share, but what has been a very crazy couple weeks and a big-ass wall project!

If you are a member of my Monthly Challenge Group on Journal Workshops you may have seen in my vlog at the beginning of this month that I have been making art not for anything online related (which is why my presence has been a bit thin, and hence another reason why I'm loving the Weekly Ramble idea) but for a centre specialising in Dementia and Alzheimer care. If you are not a member of the Monthly Challenge Group you can join it here: http://journalworkshops.ning.com/group/monthly-challenge and catch up on the challenges entirely in your own time, there is vids in there as well as lots of shared art inspiration! And if you are not a member of my Journal Workshops community you can join it here: http://journalworkshops.ning.com/ completely for free, as is all resources currently on there =)

So I will do a 'proper' vlog of this once all walls are done but here's a sneak peek of what I've been up to:

Before I started - but still a lot of work to get the walls to this state!
I started with the fishies! 'Under the sea' before 'Over the Sea', You Sea?!

Here is a small snippet of a video I made for a friend to show how I was getting on:

I've done the sea, I've done the sea, Woohoooooooooooooo

So now I'm on the upper bits of the wall:

Sometimes I stick painted elements
Sometimes I paint painted elements

And the particular wall came together into this:

What do you think?

Still several walls to go...
after I come back from a short lil hol I'm taking next week woohoo!
As I say I will make a lil vlog once all of the walls (on this particular section of wall anyhow! I've a feeling I'm being roped into doing more haha) are done.

So I'm out for this week and off to pack,
I shall have internet where I'm staying (hopefully, cross your fingers!) so shall keep the blogposts coming =)

How I Make a Friend/Family Journal

Hi guys,
quick vloggy, vloggy, vloggy time =)

- to answer a few curious peeps here's how I make a 'regular' friend/family journal. Since I did the this vid I have added a couple more embellishments as you can see below, but it's still all very simple, stuff I already had and understated so that the recipient can turn it into any kind of journal they decide:

It's super simple, it depends on who I'm giving the journals to but usually I like to give 'clean' looking journals to non-crafty people; they still look handmade rather than store brought but are not too intimidating. But if it's to a mixed-media lover they hey I may go all out ;)
So here's the vlog, enjoy:

And here's the Smash Book Tutorial I used to create it:

Wishing you a fabby crafty weekend
