So I know many of you have been waiting for this...
I still do not feel like it's 'ready' but as I am sat here now, typing this, with the beautiful smell of new wood (I hope that smell never goes) and sparrow birds fluttering outside around me I want to quickly show you where I creatively relax and recharge:
What a fabulous space! Lucky girl! X
ReplyDeleteNice and cozy hope it brings you many years of creativity!
ReplyDeleteI adore the outside color, which is close to the color for my beach room. It is called Lavender Ice:). I would love to have space like that! Do you have a heater for winter? Dont want you to freeze your digits off! Thanks for the tour, Jennibellie!
ReplyDeleteLove the lighting you get. It's so nice to have your own space where you can spend time doing what you love. Good for you! Enjoy and stay creative always!
ReplyDeleteI am so envious of you! How you have your own space and can escape from the world to do art.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cute space. Your own getaway, shut the doors to the world and be in the artsy realm. Love it.

How wonderful Jenny! I have to say it looks quite small. From the outside it looked like it would be deeper than it is. But i'm so glad you have a space to call your own! Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely space, Jenny...and you can't beat a bit of Buffy! *hugs* x
ReplyDeleteyour studio is WONDERFUL a gorgeous space
ReplyDeleteso enjoyed the video tour Jenny. thank you so much for sharing your space with us. I am pea-green with envy :-)
ReplyDeleteI envy you! No room "just for me" where I live, I have to share both my study place and my creative place with the study place of my boyfriend... No calm and no privacy ever, goodbye cheesy tv shows! ;)
ReplyDeleteLove your new studio!
ReplyDeleteWait so you have two studios?! I don't even have one. :( You lucky lady. Care to donate one to my cause? Teehee. Enjoy your new room I hope you create lots of beautiful art in there that you share with your readers. xox.
ReplyDeleteI love The space!!! I am envious of the insulation. I have just gone through a winter with no insulation in my studio. Hat scarf and jacket with slippers and I was still freezing. ENJOY your new space !!!1
ReplyDeleteIts divine!!!! Lots of space and room to journal and create! I see a spot where you could even add a wee free-standing bookshelf when the time will come (and the time WILL come, sweetie - bet on it! lol). I believe last time I was at IKEA, I spotted little storage footstools with leather tops that lifted off for storage inside -- something like that to keep in mind for guest seating too, honey, in place of that pink beanbag chair. I had to giggle picturing you trying to get on and off of that beanbag bed ... I remember how they used to challenge us in college in the 70's!! lol Its all just lovely though and I know, in time, you'll decorate it to your satisfaction and it will be even lovelier! How is Sweepie liking it? Is he getting better about the change with it?
ReplyDelete100% Inspiration! Just lovely. Use it in good health for many, many years to come (and can't wait to see other incarnations as you change it over time).
ReplyDeleteIt's so cute!!! One day I hope to get a bigger spot to create in besides the corner of the guest bedroom!!
ReplyDeleteLovely studio! Congrats . . .
ReplyDeleteYou sound so happy with your new studio, It's absolutely super nice :) Well done!!! hugs Andrea xx
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely space for mellowing, thinking, dreaming, etc. Love it. I have a new IKEA kitchen that I love, love. Such amazing stuff. I also bought an Ektorp loveseat you might think about. I have cats and wanted something I could wash easily and Ektorp's come with slipcovers. Love my cats more than my furniture! Thanks for the tour.,
