The Weirdo Art Book

In my last post I sneaked a pic of my new beadalious book, so here's the finished article:

Believe it or not this whole book only took one sheet of A1 paper to create. I first folded the paper, then tore (there's no precision cutting in the whole book), then painted. It was very freeing.
All the pages inside are completed too
Here is a video flip through if you want to see all of the pages & construction of the book:
Linking to artists in blogland, sneak peek friday & paint party friday. Happy weekend everyone :) x

  29. Hi Jenni--I was trying to find your email, but I couldn't. I have a question for you--I love watching your videos--these journals are excellent. And int the Horrid Journal :)
you were talking about a good brand of oil pastels--what did you use for the better ones?
    And are they water soluble?
    Thanks for all the inspiration!!

  31. Ohhhh Jenniebelle,

What a fantastic collection of wonderful weirdo's. However did they end up in the 'not very good' ? had they mean naughty? Your talents are amazing, you keep coming up with such fun and interesting new things for us to try out too.
Thank you for you wonderful inspirations. Your decorated page edges are absolutely bead-utiful. I'm off to check out if there is a tutorial on how to make the paper beads. If you haven't made one yet night you be able time to make one please?
    Warmest best wishes,
    Susanne
