Some time away

Hi guys, just a quick post to let you know that if you've noticed my absense a little over the past few days, on yt, fb or replying to your comments I'm not ignoring you, I just need a little time away from the computer. Genetically the women in my family are strong, but suffer badly healthwise with what us women have to go through, this month I've not only suffered excruciating pains and migraines but also sickness, which I've not dealt with since a teenager and it has knocked me for six. I can stand being on the comp, but only for a v.small time, so I'm just going to give in and have downtown away from anything that makes me feel worse. I could be away a couple days or a week or two, I dunno just wanted to give you a heads-up and tell you I'm not ignoring you and I've not disappeared, I just need to get better. And just to make this about art, here's the only art journal page I've done in quite a while:
 - without feeling any more sorry for myself ( :/ ) the title sums it all up really...

  11. Love you Jenniebellie. Steaming hot showers and ice packs are what do in the migraines for me. And amazingly...Ben Gay. When I was in my 30s and 40s they were much more frequent and as you say...threw me for six. Wish I'd known about or tried using these simple remedies then...instead of pain killers. Also, I finally found out that some of those migraines were caused by sinus. A neti pot helps with that. Pure and simple. Most importantly...as hard as it is when you're feeling like dog dudu...focus on being healthy. Please, please be better soon.

  14. So sorry to hear that you're not feeling well and have terrible migraines. They are the worse - just want to throw the covers over your head. We all love you and I for one am very proud of you for your honesty and that your #1 priority is taking care of yourself. <3. Please take good care of yourself!

    I love you and wish you the best in your down time. I am a Feldenkrais Somatic Educator and practitioner and can't recommend it enough. There should be someone in your neck of the woods who can help you. Meanwhile, I'll be thinking good thoughts for you.

  19. If there is one thing I know for sure... and I am a granny so I know what I am saying... everytime you hit a brick wall, it is time to take a break. Giving out as much as you do is bound to appear in health issues as exhaustion. Take a break, take it easy and no one will go away, I wish for you a speedy recovery and look forward as and when you are ready to come back ;o)

But it is important to do what you are doing and taking time out to rest and though I will miss you and all your lovely ideas and gorgeous artwork - I will still be here waiting for your full recovery and return to good spirits.   59. I just found your work on YouTube sorry to hear your not feeling well. I really like the style of your work and will continue to check out you video's and wait for your return. I have had medical problems most my life and art has been such a part of my healing process. Take time for yourself, take care of yourself and you will be in my thoughts for a quick recovery.

I have been making recycled materials journals since watching your tutorials and I'm addicted :) My family thinks I've turned into a hoarder due to snapping up the cereal boxes and putting them in a bin in my bedroom. Migraines are horrible and I know you are not able to use the computer (I think it is the flickering images) but when you are able, please know that we all want you better as quickly as possible. Food can be a huge factor in migraines so research what you are eating!
