My New Recycled Art Caddy

Hi guys, my studio is getting *crazy* messy recently so I've been busy saving food packaging to recycle it into this art caddy, what do you think??
I made it strong with LOTS of layers of vintage text pages & glue, and a re-purposed old drawer handle.
bottoms up!
Here it is in action:
I'm honestly shocked with how much it actually holds, I wish I'd have taken a picture of what a mess my tool area was before ~ but look my lil ornaments below actually have *room* to stretch their legs now (though I doubt that'll last very long at all lol)
For those of you who are on facebook and saw my latest update saying my next tuts are recycling cardboard so start saving it, no this isn't one of them...but you can go grab some food boxes and make one of these in the interim =D x

  2. Great idea and so pretty! I will copy (thanks) to make a smaller version of little boxes to hold the "stuff" I can't throw away but will use quickly on other projects - small so I can see them. The biggest help to me has been a plastic tub under my work station with recycled manilla folders each painted with a basic color and I shove paper scraps into - I am now using the scraps and have freed up a drawer that was full of scraps and never used. Thanks for your blog! mw

  11. Jenni, I have a question--did I DREAM it--or didn't I see a post or a you tube video where you said you had so many questions about how to make the kleenex box journal that you made a tutorial for it? I've collected quite a few kleenex boxes now, and am searching for a tutorial, but can't find one. I think I could probably figure it out, but you are so informative it makes it so easy! If you HAVE done a tutorial, I'd love the link! Thanks ♥

  23. Ah, Would you do a little tutorial? it's wonderful and is just exactly what I need. Every single time I walk by my stash table I knock something off! All my fault, it's just too tight in there, but this would really help.

  24. Love you 'stash holder' Jenny** I made a holder using the plastic containers that used to have a 'napisan' type powder in them* Couldn't bear to recyle them so i got busy wth some tape, images from magazines and some glue* resultis is a pretty cool and very handy receptacle for my paint brushes etc* I would like to show you, But not sure how to do it.I hope you are well now;) xx
