Full Studio Tour

'Finnnnnnally' whoop! Video tour of my space is here.

It's not what I'd create if life gave me unlimited funds and floor space, and I don't feel it 'represents' me very well as I'm v.much into crisp & beautiful interior design, BUT on the other hand it does represent me, so, so much! It makes the best of what I can have through what I do have, it's a compact entity that generates a multitude creativity from within it's hub and it's comfortable, something which all my spaces have to be above (or rather incorporated through) interior design.

Sometimes I wish it were a huge big open plan attic space, with a roof terrace filled with comfy cushions and potted plants - I mainly wish this when I'm trying to work on 50 projects at once, and run out of room to put all the things that are dripping with paint. But mostly I wish it were nothing but exactly what it is. My creativity lives, breathes and expands here, for now at least; and that means when I'm here I really am home.

  1. Thank you for doing this video and sharing where all the Jennibellie goodness come from! i LOVE it! You show yet another side of your creativity/organizational skills with being able to get so much into a small space, and make it functional, and fun! It reminds me of the little clown cars in the circus, where the tiny door opens and out pops clown after clown, and we are left wondering, "how did they all fit in there?" that's a compliment btw ;) allowing "us" to see that is doesn't matter how much space we have....as you said, that's NOT where the creativity comes from. And i love the paper chain at the ceiling as well. cute blooper at the end, i can imagine your arm was getting weary holding the camera that long! thanks Jenny-you are the BEST!!! <3

  2. One of the things I like the most about your videos and posts is that you *do* make the most of everything and anything that crosses your path, and you are always generous enough to share your ideas with anyone who reads your blog or follows your youtube channel.

You are not only talented, in many ways, but so generous, so giving of your joy, ingenuity and inspiration. Thank you.

  3. Wow!! Thanks so much for a peek into Jenniworld. I've been needing to organize my craft room and have looked to publications that feature creative spaces and they're just so over the top sometimes. I think most people are more like yourself; we have a small space that needs to be creatively arranged to be functional. Thanks for the inspiration, once again. You rock, girl!

  6. Your creative space is indeed very small, but you made the best out of it! You have so much stuff, I feel that my closets are pretty empty, but, again, recycling and creating out of nothing stimulates our imaginations: no need for thousands of supplies to make it work!

  7. Loved the tour of your studio. You have given me new hope to get organized. I have years ad years worth of accumulated crafts that I need to sort through. It is almost like Christmas morning when I find a kewl art toy or supply that I had forgotten about and stored away and then uncovered from the clutter... so I am very happy when I find those surprises. thanks for all of your ideas and information. I m new to your blog and am enjoying it very much! ~Gin~

  8. Jenny, the youngest scrapper I ever met was 17 and lived at home with her parents. Everything crafty she had needed to fit into a suitcase and slide under her bed! She created some magical projects in this smallest studio! You have managed to creatively store all your supplies--and I picked up quite a few ideas from you! Thanks! Kay

  11. Enjoyed your tour, my camera is taped to a 48 inch long "ruler" piece of trim and that is zip-tied to a torcherie(spelling) lamp.ilove recycling as much as possible.

  12. Your space is amazing! You're very organized and I got lots of good ideas for doing things in my own studio which is also quite small...only 10' x 10' and packed to the ceiling!
